FS: Wendler Electrocoustic fretless

Hi TB. I recently picked this up on an impulse here on TB and it's all I hoped it would be. Minty condition, sounds great, super comfortable and fast neck and very lightweight and beautiful. Unfortunately, I can't justify keeping it given the amount of gear I already have, so it's looking for a good home.

Here's the thread I got it from with pics and links to soundclips, and you should check out the thread he got it from for more info, pics and links to other soundclips (which are awesome):

FS/T: Wendler Electrocoustic fretless bass

My seller's thread mentioned that, in the interest of full disclosure, some might find the bass and/or gigbag to smell smokey. I used to smoke, have a sensitive nose, and honestly could smell nothing on the bass or even the gigbag. It's a non-issue in my mind (and was a non-issue in my seller's too, but not his first buyer's (whose ID I don't know)), but if you're very very sensitive, keep this in mind.

Asking what I paid for it - $745 shipped UPS ground/insured CONUS only. Includes the gigbag it came with. Paypal or check (ship when it clears). Sorry, not interested in any trades at this point.

Thanks for looking, DM

I've had good luck de-smoking cases and bags with Ozium. Don't spray the item directly. Open the item up and put it in an empty closet or other small room with a door and then spray the Ozium in the closet and close the door. Leave overnight. May have to repeat more than once. Works well - not a big hassle.

"Non-tobacco" smoke is usually harder to eradicate than cigarette smoke.

Thanks for the tip, Low Main, but any smokey smell this bass and bag ever had, if any, is long gone to my nose.

You have no idea how much I want this and no idea how much I'm regretting being broke right now. Let me know if you're into fretless trades at some point.

Still here? Wow. I am so tempted. My EUB is giving me grief with hand pain and after listening to the sound sample...

Anyone want a NS NXT EUB???

Hand pain RS issues

To SteveC - great bass for that exact reason.

I am an upright player with similar problems and almost pulled tge trigger on this myself.

Good luck Dee-Man!!
