FS: White Fender Hot Rod P Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,

I'm selling my Olympic White Hot Rod P Bass. I've come to own 2 almost identical basses, so I'm getting rid of this one.

I traded for it on TB just over a year ago. The old thread with pics is here:

FS: Fender Hot Rod P Bass

It's in pretty much the same condition as I got it in, but it's got a black pickguard (which looks great with the maple fret board) and thumbrest on it now.

$850 OBO Shipped with case

The case is the Rock Case from the original FS thread. It's no longer new of course, and has some tears in the tolex, but is in good condition otherwise.

Money order preferred for payment, but I will accept Paypal if it's a deal breaker. The only trades I'm interested in would be a Lakland Skyline Decade or a good Rickenfaker.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for looking!

That's odd. I'll try to take some new pictures if I get a chance later.

PICS

My wife did the decals for me, but I'll be transferring them to my other P Bass, so this one will be nice and clean!

Right now, while you sit comfortably at your computer, there are hundreds of unwanted basses sitting in the TB classifieds. They suffer from anxiety from being overcrowded by all the other basses in the classifieds, as well as depression from being so calluosly discarded by their owners.

No one can solve this problem by themselves, but you can do your part and take this poor abandoned bass into your loving home.

You may ask: "Can I afford to do this?" You should really ask: Can you afford not to?

Hey, my old Hot Rod!!! Great bass and Peter was a pleasure to do business with. I still don't understand why Fender doesn't offer a Hot Rod P American Std. today.

Yeah, here it is! I'm selling it for pretty much the same reason you did: redundent basses! I definitely agree about Fender not selling these. Makes no sense, you'd think they'd make a killing on them!

Hmm... not sure on the weight, and I don't have a scale. I think it's around 9 lbs, but don't quote me on that. I'll see if I can find somewhere to weigh it. As for the tort guard, I sold it awhile back, sorry!

I've got a new case of GAS, so here's a bump!

Also, I will accept Paypal if it's a deal breaker.

Throwing in a cheap pedal tuner, and strap lock buttons, so you can use strap locks if you got 'em!

I found a deal I can't resist. As a result, I'm feeling a little more flexible! Make an offer!
