FS -White T-40 Project

I bought this bass a while ago with hopes of rebuilding it, however I haven't been playing bass much as of late so I am just going to stick with owning one ...

Anyway here is the original thread:

Peavey T40

White Body
Maple board
Has one pick up and pickguard

Has been well played but not beat...add a pickup and the wiring harness and it is good to go....

according to SN it is a 1979...

Nothing has changed since, though I did clean it up a little when I first got it. I can provide new pictures if someone absolutely needs to have them, but I think Jaymi did a fine job in his thread.

Only thing to note is there are no strings and I will probably ship disassembled, as that is how it came to me.

$200 shipped obo .... maybe trades for hiking, camping, biking gear. Also I'm looking for some kind of looper, Akai E2 headrush or Boss RC-20xl .. etc

How long has the neck been sitting with no strings on it? Is the truss rod still under tension or has it been backed off?

Sorry for the lack of updating this thread, I've just been stopping by talkbass every once in a while to check pms.

stflbn - I strung the bass up when I first got it and messed around with it for a few months until I realized I didn't have the time to do anything with it. It's been a few months since it has had strings on it, but I did back the tension off a bit. I know there is some debate about storing bass necks, however I've stored a few like this without any ill effects.

Also, someone buy Gord oh's Pbass so he can buy this
