Offering my Pat Wilkins built P/J fretless bass. This is another that came from the collection of George Biondo, longtime bassist for Steppenwolf. No biggie just thought I'd mention it. I bought it from a local shop here in town a few months ago.
This bass is beautiful but I'm needing to get a little more liquid so here it is for sale. It's essentially in new condition an easy 9.5 out of 10. Bass has a chambered mahogany body with an alder top and an amazing 3-tone sunburst finish by none other than Pat Wilkins. Passive Lollar pickups and I'd guess about 8.5 lbs. Hardware is all Hipshot. Nut is 1.5".
Includes a NEW G&G hardshell case, Schaller straplocks and a nice neoprene type strap.
I'm asking $1050 shipped CONUS for this bass. If I was not going to sell it I'd probably have the neck fretted or get Pat Wilkins to build me another fretted neck for it. I really like this bass and hate to part with it - but it's the least played because I'm not real good at the fretless thing - so here it is.
