For sale...Wishbass Kewel model, #780.
FretFX LEDs on fingerboard edge.
Hipshot "A" bridge (aluminum), and volume knob.
Bartolini pickup.
Brand new D'Addario chromes.
This is a rare model for Wishbass...the only other Kewel models I've seen are in the gallery pics on Wish's website, and one owned by TB'er happybacon. Both of those are 4 strings though, so this might be one of a kind. Actually, considering the LEDs, and the Hipshot...it IS one of a kind.
The bass is in nice condition, and plays well. Typical Wishbass finish...good, but not a pro job, by any means. Big, fat, rock-solid neck. As has been said before...easy transition from an upright to a Wish.
The FretFX are very cool, and can be turned on/off via a switch on the back of the headstock. They are placed where the fretlines would be, and intonation/placement is right-on.
If anyone would like higher-res pics, please PM me with your e-mail.
$540.00 shipped to the Lower 48. *****PRICE DROP...$490.00 shipped to the lower 48*****
Will entertain trades for cabs, also...let me know what you have.

One thing that is a deciding factor for me with Wishes is that the neck MUST have two purpleheart stringers. I don't know why but that has been the case with both Wishes I've owned.
This one has em, and some really nice looking walnut too. Very pretty. Someone will be getting a fine example. Good luck with your sale, I gotta stop looking now for my own good.

That walnut will finish up like nobody's business. Kewel's are very comfortable too - I know, I used to one one. Good luck with your sale!

I don't know much about these instruments but I am in the market for a fretless. Mosty looking for Gary Willis and Stingray 5 fretlesses. I've liked the Stingray's ability to still function as a great slap bass while remaining fretless.
Anything you can say this bass which might make it contenter against a GWB model or fretless Ray might get me more curious.
Plus I PM'd for more pics. |

Plus I PM'd for more pics. | Yes, just a single volume knob. I'm pretty much a 4-string fretted player (which is why I'm selling this ), so I don't have any experience with other fretlesses. Wishbasses are known for their simple electronics, and signature sound...which is very woody, and natural. They are probably the closest you can get to an amplified upright. As far as slap, or a better explanation of the general sound, hopefully one of the veteran Wishbass guys will chime in to help us out. |

I'm not even close to proficient enough on fretless, to know if mine could sound like that. It does look great hanging on the wall, though! |
