FS: Wood & Tronics Chronos 35/5

I need to grab a fretless 5 or 6 and a fretted 6 string and don't have the cash to get either (it happens!) so my baby needs to go unfortunately. It comes with a gig bag. Some specs:

Body : Alder with purpleheart toneblock
Top : Indian Apple
Neck : 3 piece , Maple / Ash / Maple
Fretboard : Macassar Ebony
Scale: 35"
Preamp : Custom John East / W&T Design (vol, blend, bass boost/cut & treble boost/cut, mid boost/cut & mid sweep, active passive/tone)
Pickups : Christoph Dolf Dual Coils (bassculture.de)
Bridge : ETS Tuning Fork
Spacing : not 100% certain, but it looks like 18.5. It's very comfortable at any rate.
Tuners : Hipshot

Some pics from Dan Ledard's Luthier's Access Group, from when it was purchased:
Luthier's Access Group - Wood & Tronics Chronos 5 / 35 NT ( N )

Some pics of it at my house, with my BB75 (not for sale):
Index of /images/basses/woodtron

Even it a pic of it from the W&T website
Wood & Tronics Bass Guitars | Customisation Customization

This is a review of my exact bass, not a similar one but the same bass done by our own Jake Wolf for Bass Musician magazine:
Wood & Tronics Chronos 5 String Bass | Bass Musician Magazine [the face of bass]

In an email conversation I had with Enrico Passini of W&T, he said: "Congratulations for your bass achievement, that one happens to be one of our ten best-sounding basses ever. Its low-B focus especially deserves some praise as it is so focused and playable that I personally have experimented a very few times in my life, on any bass guitar."

It's a really nice bass Unfortunately, having a full time job (and a hockey team to coach and 10 other things) I get very few chances to play out these days and I have decided to sacrifice a bass I LOVE to get back out in front of an audience. I'm old with 4 kids, what can I say?

I'm asking $2800 shipped in the lower 48. Replacement is over $4K and comes with a wait. I will work with you if you are elsewhere.

If you have any questions or want different pics please let me know. Thanks!

I would definitely consider trades as well, just hit me up with what you've got I need to grab a fretless 5 or 6 and a fretted 6 string. I'm willing to do a trade + cash or whatever. I was planning to just buy from here anyway, keep it all in the family

EDIT: Sorry but I need to mention I am only interested in lined fretless instruments. I'm one of those guys who needs lines and I accept that limitation Thanks

Thanks, it really is I think because it's an Italian brand that is difficult to get in the US (and because of where I priced it - for that same reason) some might think that it won't really hang with a Smith or Fodera or F Bass or MTD or whatever, but it's the real deal. It isn't that blonde supermodel with all the looks but no substance It was a steal at $4K, it's kinda silly where I priced it (in my opinion of course LOL)

It is I've gotten some nice offers and don't want to leave people hanging, so if anyone has an interest please let me know.

Again, I ideally need a fretted 6 and a LINED fretless either 5 or 6, but I would prefer a 6. So, a fretted 6 and cash, a fretless 6 and cash, one of each or just plain cash would get a fast response from me And as I stated, if someone buys it with cash I will get what I need out of these classifieds to keep it all in house.

thanks again everyone
