Hello, I recently purchased this bass on TB and it is a fantastic bass... I just have my eye on something else.... I installed a set of Smith nickels on her and she is sounding sooo very good. There is a ding on the top horn (see pics), this will ship in a beatup hardshell case.
Flame maple top
Alder body
Ebony fingerboard
34 inch scale
19mm spacing
weight is pretty standard I would say roughly 9lbs
Anyway Im looking for what I paid which is $850 shipped in the CONUS.
Thanks for looking

Yamaha do not, I repeat, do not make basses this good anymore, not even close. IMO, the BB NE II lost some vibe and tone during the change over from this version, well that's what I think anyways (YMMV).
This bass is a great deal at twice the posted price, however at this price it's an unbelievable steal! I would put this Yamaha against any boutique bass out there without hesitation. Best of luck with the sale.
Cheers,
Paul

I had one of these and I really missed her: They had a great and deep lows, and sweet highs... and the preamp it's really special; if I had the money will be mine immediately!!! Some day I will buy one of these again... Good luck with the sale, man!!!!

I'm debating between it and a Roscoe. I used to have a BB605, kind of a poor mans East. Yamaha is good stuff especially early Yamaha. |
