I normally wouldn't be selling this, as I just got it, but my other basses on the board aren't moving right now, so here goes.
For sale is a redburst Yamaha BB1200S bass with the active 3-band preamp. This thing has been played - there are plenty of little scratches, but nothing that would constitute "ugly" or bass abuse. The frets have some wear in them, and are probably due for dressing in the near future, but there's plenty of life there.
The three band EQ is fully functional - the bass knob is bent a little, but has a complete range of motion. In active mode, this thing really sings. For an old EQ, it's remarkably quiet and versatile. Neck relief and action are set nice and low. Strings are old and dead, but frankly I like how this bass sounds that way - powerful and traditional thump.
Original form fitting case included.
I'm asking 620 shipped CONUS. This is at a loss for me, but it needs to go to a good home.
Pictures to follow later this evening.... |

I should probably amend the description above - on second glance, the frets aren't as worn as I described. There's still a ways to go before a dressing would become necessary IMHO.
Anyway, pics... |
