FS Yamaha BB1600 Cream & Gold

Sign in to disble this ad
For Sale only, Made in Taiwan, Yamaha BB 1600, Cream with Gold hardware. P J pick-ups Vol, Vol, Tone ( Passive Monster )
Stunning rosewood fret board with Beautiful MOP inlay.
Frets are in virtually brand new condition & Bridge & Tuners
function as they should.
This bass plays & sounds GREAT, Strung w/new Red Label Warwick round wound strings. Strong crisp & clear tone with fundamental Low end. Fantastic action with Low to Medium set-up.
I love this bass & I am feeling sick for listing her for sale.

I'm trying to score a once in a lifetime Bass, so this baby has to go. This is priced to move at $ 450.00 shipped. ( CONUS )

3 flaws that I can see are in the pics provided.
1: Nick in the body, through to the wood under the G string
between P- Pick-up & The neck joint. The size of a fingernail.
Sorta like a pinkie nail followed by a dot.
2: Nick on the back, above the control cavity ( finish only )
about the size of a thumbnail. ( not the hole nail, Its like a clipping )
3: Small, barely noticeable scuff like marks on the fret board
located at the 5,6 & 7th frets. I just noticed these marks & I'm sure they could easily be buffed or polished right out.

This is an awesome bass & I know you'll Love It! If not, I'll
be happy to take her back. She's that kind of bass.

e check, Paypal, Personal check
Shipped in an older gig bag, Carefully packed for a safe arrival.
No worries, I've done this before. I can safely pack a bass like nobody's business.

Thanks for looking,
rkingly

Final flaw and extra shot of inlay. Pic on right, shows scuff marks.

I have a '79 BB1200 and it sounds huge, the only thing wrong with it is that it doesn't have two pickups like this baby. The build quality is better than a lot of basses that cost 2-3 times as much. Bump for an underappreciated bass!

kjpollo,
She's a bolt on & Very easy on the eyes, I feel like I'm breaking up
with a girlfriend.... all sick inside...

DrewinHouston, very underrated, but not under appreciated. Who ever
buys this will Love it! The build quality is awesome, sounds & plays great.

Thanks

What kind of bridge is that? I had this same model, but it didn't come with that bridge and it had a painted neck. Absolutely my favorite bass. I might get interested in this one, but my son wants new cymbals. He comes first but if you still have it....

The bridge is solid as can be & quite adjustable, It's the first one that I've seen & it does differ from my M. Anthony Yamaha.
I've had this bass for years & have never needed to adjust anything.
Very stable, well made Bass.
Check back when you find the time & Money & if she's still here,
She's all yours.
