This 5 string bass is only a few months old. Gigged once with it, well - played one song with it, so it's in 'demo new' condition. Everything is stock, including the strings. Has a great P bass sound and tight J bass sound, with a pick up switch selector. You will get single coil hum. Really nice action, smooth neck. I would recommend replacing the strings as the stock strings seem to 'slip' on the tuning peg. This occurs only on the B string - which actually sounds pretty good. Not floppy.
34" scale, rosewood fretboard, maple and nato 5-piece neck, alder body - passive volume and tone controls. Get the classic BB looks and sound! They updated and re-released this model with a pickguard, steel control plate and call it the BB425X, which sells for around $600.
