Helping out a brother bassist!

Here is a Great condition TRBJP 34" amber color John Patitucci bass.
this bass probably sat at a local music store for a long time as a demo before somebody bought it.
The finish its in great condition, very shiny with very little wear. the bridge and tuners have no rust whatsoever and no fading. There is a small nick at the top of body mid center that's about 3 mm round.
The bass comes with a hardshell case also in great condition
~~asking $1,700.00 + shipping~~

Fretboard Ebony
Pickups 2 active single coils with dummy coils
Hardware Gold
Controls Master volume, pan, bass cut/boost, treble cut/boost, user-defined mid-range

Scale 34" (863.5mm)

Funny I don't know the answer to this question by now, but do we in the USA pay customs/import taxes for bringing in a Canadian bass?

Hi Kevin,
I believe there are customs fees added for basses that were made outside the US and Canada.
the Last Yamaha I sold in US, the buyer was charged approx $120 bucks based on a $1800 dollar bass. which we splitted.
But I have sold other basses in US that have were not applied any type of fees or taxes.
I think it really depends, on origin of manufacturer, value of bass, new or used, gift or sale...
