FS: Yamaha TRB5 - Charcoal Grey

Tired of being tired from gigging late, so selling some things off. (Selling most things off)

Beautiful Yamaha TRB5
Transparent Charcoal finish
Hipshot bridge and ultralight tuners (black)
Dunlop straplocks (black)
I'll throw in the Comfort Strapp with black dunlop straplocks I use with the bass.
Weight: 9.5 lbs which is light for one of these.

This is the first model with the 3-way notched mid knob. 2 of those positions are set via dials inside of the bass cabinet. Very functional. Very handy.

Has been gigged and has some dings in it, as well as some rubs/indentions on the back of the bass that are not scratches.
(I'll document those via photo's tonight)

Will ship in a brand new roadrunner polyfoam case.

Lets move it for $550 shipped inside U.S.

This 'is' / 'was' my #1 bass. Love the tone of it and whole feel/style of playing it.

I'm cutting back to 1 bass and will not be gigging live, so have decided to just keep my heavily modded Schecter Studio5 with custom Kent Armstrong pickups and Aguilar OBP-3 preamp.

I prefer the tone of the TRB5, but the Schecter is the bass my wife bought me new 5 years ago when I got back into playing after a 15 year hiatus. So I'll keep it around to noodle around on for hobbiest studio needs. It's versatile enough tonally.

This bass is back available. Prospective buyer was overseas and I wasn't comfortable with the payment / delivery options.

Next in line could be YOU.

Does that bridge have the same (19mm) spacing as the original?

It has adjustable spacing... or 'some' adjustment to it. I believe it's currently set right at or just under 19mm.

It's the brass Hipshot bridge with adjustable spacing.

I shop. I just don't 'ship'.

Past problems = paranoid and gun-shy. I err' on the side of me being comfortable with everything about the sale at this point.

34" 18-19mm spacing depending on how you set it on the bridge.
