Well, it's time to face the fact that I will never be a 6-string player. I tried, but it's not my thing. So up for grabs is my Yamaha TRB6II that is in pretty much perfect condition. Straight neck, great action, electronics all work as they should, etc.
This one was made in Japan and the fit / finish are really good. I had a TRB1006 for a while, and the TRB6II feels like a much higher quality instrument. 35" scale, 18mm spacing.
I've had it about a year and have never gigged it. The previous owner never gigged it, only studio use. The only minor imperfection is some wear in the finish between pickups where the thumb rests, but I wouldn't be able to get it to show up in a photo.
I put a set of Circle K strings on it and they sound awesome! It really has that grand piano sound on the low strings. Everything else is bone stock. I think the year of mfg is 2001, but not 100% certain. Included is a Yamaha hard case in great condition also.
It's not a lightweight bass. On my analog scale it's over 10 lbs, but I can't be more precise than that.
Looking for $1000 shipped.
