FS: Yamaha TRB6II amber color MINT!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,
For sale is a beautiful Yamaha TRB6II 6 string bass in amber colour. I have had this bass for about 6 months, and it is in the same condition I received it. it is basically new, no scratches nor dings anywhere. there is no rust whatsoever on the bridge and pick ups look new.
I have set up the neck with very low action and no fret buzz anywhere. it has a medium set of DR lowriders (SS) with a
.130 B string
When I received the bass, there were two small knobs missing (bass and treble) which they can be replaced. other than that, the bass its ready to be played. It comes with a soft gig bag, but will be very well packed.
Asking $1200.00 to US or Canada. International shipping available as well.
Here are the specs from Yamaha website:

Body Ash
Neck Maple Bolt-on
Fretboard Rosewood
Pickups 2 active single coils with dummy coils
Hardware Gold
Controls 5-control system: master volume, pan, bass cut/boost, mid-range cut/boost, treble cut/boost
Frets 24
18mm string spacing
Bridge Solid Brass
Scale 35"

The sound is very jazzy like due to the all ash body and rosewood fretboard. slap sound its incredible.
Here are a couple of pictures, and I have more available to whom ever might interested.
thanks for looking!

I have the five string version, the TRB5II, and it indeed does sound surprisingly close to a Jazz bass. I wish I had the money for your six.

Thanks Doc!
Also, I have heard a few people with battery problems on these basses, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever, I guess I they made it on a good year
