PRICE REDUCED****Beautiful Yamaha TRB6PII neckthrough on 35" scale.All notes through the fretboard are even and the action is set up super low, with no buzz.
The bridge has the piezo pick ups for a nice growly upright like sound. Great sounding instrument, as a matter of fact this is the elite production of Yamaha basses and they really have the product to back it up. I would compare the sound of this bass to a more modern Jazz bass. Excellent pick ups and preamp that gives this bass a very nice thick tone "ala" single coil but with its Yamaha flavour to it. Slap sound is snappy and thick.
Only reason I would like to sell it, is because I have seen another TRB6PII with a Bubinga top! that I would like to get.
There are some "pock" marks on the front top of the bass and a small section of the clear finish from the headstock has come off. Easily repairable if desired. They do NOT affect the playability of this bass. The rest of the bass is intact.
These are the best sounding basses I have played so far, and you can get any sound you want. I have seen this bass played by smooth jazz/R&B players to Heavy Metal. Very flexible indeed.
