FS: YR2000 MIM Fender Fretless Jazz 4 - Burgundy

Sign in to disble this ad
I'll have the pics up later this evening. Bass is "near mint".

Comes with a Tweed Fender Hardshell case that was purchased separately, and is about six months old.

Bass was strung with new TI Jazz Flats just one month ago.

Selling because I've agreed to purchase "Climb's" Alembic Fretless, so my beloved J is now "redundant to use."

Asking $425 OBO.

Paypal only please.

Pictures

Okay, here are pics. These are just from a camera-phone; if someone wants "Playboy centerfold" quality stuff, I'll go hunt down the good camera.

This thing really is a beauty IMO. I can't find a scratch, bang, ding or nick anywhere on her! And I think this "Midnight Wine" / Burgundy finish is so cool.

I play only fingerstyle, so the pickguard doesn't even have a scratch!

The bass is MIM; I think the cat is American.

He doesn't "meow" with an accent, at least.

I have recent scratches on my hand from said "fake cat." I have a large bag of Purina Cat Chow (Urinary Health Formula) sitting in my kitchen, and it is NOT being steadily consumed by the dog.

Finally, I'm sitting on my bed typing this instead of at my desk, because said "fake cat" is occupying the desk chair (as advertised - although in the upright position for now), and "do not disturb" is his motto.

You wound me, sir. Not as much as said cat, but you wound me.

He's a 2005 model. My wife actually is not a big cat fan, but always falls for kittens.

This one had blue eyes, and when the lady she works with brought him in to plead with someone to take him home, she fell for it.

She named him "Frankie," for the blue eyes.

I call him, variously, "Frankster," "Frankazoid," and "You **** Cat Stop Scratching The Upholstery Why Do You Think I Got You A Scratching Post Ya Moron Geez." All terms of endearment.

*Ahem* The Bass? Oh, interesting you should ask!

Note the current "Latest Supporting Member" to the left as I type this, "Jim Carr". See that bass?

That's the same color as THIS bass.

Buy it.
