I have concluded my relationship with fretless basses. I must say, this Zon has to be my all time favorite though.
Composite thin neck and gorgeous fretboard. Neck is similar in feel to a Modulus, but I believe a nicer feeling and looking fretboard. Really low action, Bartolini Electronics and lush fretless tones.
In exceptionally good condition. Lightweight at 7.8 lbs (bathroom scales). Year, I believe, is a 1997 (# 9703647). No truss rod because it doesn't need it. This neck won't move no matter what environment or climate. Really beautiful wood and finish. I'm uncertain whether the beautiful top wood is Bubinga or ?. No rash or dings/scratches on front, back, sides or headstock. One very small area on the treble side of the fretboard in the upper registers. It's very narrow, almost like a scrape on the finish. Non issue.
