It saddens me to do this, but I just have too many basses, and too many home repairs to take care of.
This one I picked up here on TB not too long ago - I always loved this color, especially with a maple board. The bass has a Lollar 5 str P pickup, a DiMarzio (not sure which model) J pickup, and a Nordstrand preamp.
The controls are: Volume/pull for passive , mid/pull for freq , stacked low & hi , pickup pan , passive tone control.
When I got the bass in there were some little problems with the electronics (cutting out) so I took it right to my tech - he said everything was wired correctly and worked (it worked for me when I opened up the conrol cavity) but that there was too much extra wiring left on the install and it was causing components to short out against the shielding because of how tight everything was. So he took everything out and redid the wiring, and also did a side-dressing on the frets. I've never had a problem since.
The spacing is 19mm at the bridge, the neck is fairly flat and very thin front to back - kinda like a Lakland 5 string neck, but 20 frets and 34" scale - a real joy to play!
I installed Jim Dunlop straplocks, the strap ends will come with the bass. Also includes a gig bag.
