FSO: Fekwoods '98 Peavey Cirrus w/Custom Knobs $700 48 hr sale!

Sign in to disble this ad
Thats right $700 FIRM. $40 shipping. NO TRADES. This is only good for 48 hrs ppl. Then it's off to the pwn shop.

I Found my "gotta have this bass" and I NEED to sell this ASAP.
Take advantage of a GREAT deal. Don't miss out, you'll NEVER find another deal like this one!

This bass plays like a dream. I'm not a pro player and this bass needs to be PLAYED, SLAPPED, TAPPED, HAMMERED, ECT...

I play blues so a simple looking, awesome sounding bass with an Alder body and Maple/Rosewood neck will do just fine. I don't need all this fancy wood.

I'm quite crushed over this. Really. I sold both of my Millenniums to get it. Oh well, that's the way it goes.

The body is Walnut, top is Bubinga, the neck is Maple/Walnut and is graphite reinforced. Weight: 8.0 lbs.

Fekwood says: "As a woodworker, I personally made custom knobs for this bass. I used solid Ebony and inlaid the tops with Amboya Burl. The volume and pan knobs feature a bit of light colored Amboyna Burl, while the bass, mid and treble knobs are solid red. The bottoms are counter board for an aluminum insert, then drilled and tapped for a 6-32 stainless steel set screw. I also made an Ebony ramp, that sits perfectly between the two pickups, and it's contoured to match the shape of the pickups as well.

The electronics are studio quite with no noise/static from the knobs/pots. The tuners and bridge are not tarnished.

The Peavey hard case is in near mint condition, I always used a gig bag, and comes with all the original case candy shown, including the original mint Dunlop strap locks, I never used them. Because of it's great condition, custom embellishments and all original accessories.

FOR SALE: $700 PAYPAL FIRM $40 shipping No negotiations.

** Since I got it, I had it professionally tweaked and set-up. Neck is to die for. Low action, no noise, great set-up.

pics... (thx fekwood)

Gorgeous Cirrus. I don't have any use for another 4 string, but I'll buy those knobs maybe the case...

If it wasn't for the thumb rest/ ramp, I would be interested. Does that get in the way? it looks completely uncomfortable, like you would strike it while finger plucking.

Ramp

No Jack. It doesn't get in the way at all. It can be removed. Probably professionally, as I don't know what glue was used. Perfect 'lil thumb rest. I was able to use both pups AND the ramp to move my right hand up and down the pickup area for different plucking tones. I think it's an awesome addition.
AND for this price, you can get it removed professionally and not notice the cost.
Thanks for your inquiry.

Cmon Peeps. I need to move this fast. Sent a deposit on my new bass already.
PM me. Lets talk if you are SERIOUS ONLY! Please no case kickers, as I am very serious about this sale and it's only available to my TB community.
Thx. Hawk

Closet Queen

For those of you that wanted to know... here is my "Gotta Have Bass"
Of course it's a USA Millennium Plus model. Brand New Closet Queen... Used only a few times in the past 10 years.
I'm not crazy, I just know what I like. And I LOVE this one...

I've never before seen or heard of anyone selling a killer Cirrus for a Millennium. I commend your ability to stick with (and know) what you like, but I disagree with your choice. Good luck with the sale. I wish I could rationalize another 4 banger.

I would have given a testicle for this guitar to have hung around for another month.

XHawk...

You're foregiven...

But then again I'm biased for doing the same exact "downgrade" 3x in the past 12 months.

If you haven't seen that blue in person.. it's a stunning stage color.. looks almost black.. more definition.

Only drawback is the lack of a 5th string...

OPINION - After owning 300+ USA Peaveys, this is a prudent move.
