For sale only. Purchased here on TB early last year. One completely stock and gorgeous Spector NS4CRFM in rare plum finish. Solid maple body wings. EMG BT preamp and pickups. Brass nut. Inlays. Schaller tuners and strap buttons but no locks (came to me without them).
Plays and sounds great. No dings in the finish and overall the condition is very good however
there are 3 cracks starting at the fret slots of the 14th, 15th and 16th frets (see photos). I recall reading somewhere that this is not uncommon but YMMV. The bass arrived with them and when I mentioned this to the seller he was unaware that they were there. You have to really make an effort to see/photograph them and they don't effect the playability at all but I must disclose that they are there. I can only feel them if I run my fingernail over them. you cannot feel them runnng a fingertip or your palm over them.
It's a great and hard to find instrument regardless from somewhere around 1998-2000. Serial number is 4-digit and in the control cavity.
This is about as close as you can get to a USA model for short money. I'd probably keep it but my other NS4CRFM with a US 9v preamp (HAZ) in it gets all the playing time.
Bass will ship in the same sweet heavy duty suede Fender gig bag I received it in...$850.00 shipping included to the USA only. No trades or ridiculous lowball offers please.
