For sale or trade one older ('96) Carvin LB75F fretless 5 string.Mint condition, never played out. Nary a scratch. I believe the sides are koa with a maple neck & ebony fingerboard. H50N pups & active preamps, Sperzel locking tuners, Wilkinson bridge. weighs 7.6lbs. $550 shipped CONUS or trade for ? ........

Even though I've not played this bass more than maybe 2 times onstage, it's been on lots of recordings. I generally take 3-4 basses (sometimes more) to a session where I'm hired to play, but don't really know what the music will be. Despite the fact that I don't read, this seems to happen to me all the time. I play my basses for the producer & he chooses what I'll use. Many times they have chosen the Carvin & not for just "fretless parts". It seems like the sound of this particular bass sits well in the mix.

I have this bass in a different color. At first I wanted to get rid of it but the more I played it, the more I loved it. Now it goes with me to every gig. I absolutely love my Carvin fretless. And this is a sweet price. Wish I could swing a backup for mine.
