FSOT Fender MIJ Jazz Bass Special/Spector 5

Two basses for sale or trade.
Fender Jazz Bass Special MIJ 80s - Original passive electronics. Well used but in great playing shape. Original tuners replaced w/Grovers. Strung with Sadowsky flats. I use this bass mainly for recording & it has a very clear & distinct midrange. It really cuts thru a mix. Very easy to play with the Jazz size neck.
The other bass is a modified Spector Legend Custom 5 string. Mint condition. The original passive electronics afforded very little graduation in the volume pot. It was kind of either ON or OFF with very little in between. I had some active EMG pups & preamps installed which fixed the problem completely. Now the controls are vol/vol/tone & a dummy knob (the bottom one). I call that one the "suck knob" & keep it turned off all the time. This bass sounds a bit like a Pbass on steriods. Strong lower mid section with massive bottom if you want it. Strung with Ernie Ball flats.
I'll sell either bass for $550 shipped CONUS or trade either or both.
Interested in 5 strings, P basses, Tele basses. However, I'm open to all trade offers.
