I have had this bass for a few years and is usually my go to for gigs and such. It is absolutely fanstastic but it is not getting a whole lot of play since I am so much more at home on a 4 string, so I just grab my L2000 for that G&L sound. It is translucent blonde which is just beautiful with the reverse binding, it is quartersawn maple neck with Rosewood board and gun oil tint. It really is a remarkable neck. weighs in at a very light 9.5lbs on the bathroom scale. It would be mint if there was not just the one pencil eraser size dent by the input jack (obscurred when you plug it in though). Other than that it is FLAWLESS, no dings dents or scratches. It is set up with low action, fresh set of DR nickel low riders, slaps like a dream and (since I am not a pick player) is great for fingerstyle and sounds incredible, has that G&L sound. Comes in OHSC that has the typical G&L missing feet situation, but the case is perfect otherwise. The toggles are from neck to bridge, pickup select, series/parallel, and passive/active/active (with treble boost).
My list for trades is small, I am really wanting a G&L L1000 one of the old vintage hogs with the ebony and all that mojo. Other well appointed G&L l2000's or ASAT's, Older Warwick Streamers, Yamaha BB basses (from the 70's/80's) plus a little $$, also a 51p reissue bass, nash fender etc.
Will ship ConUS only. UPS. paypal accepted though not preferred. ASKING $975 shipped. a nice price considering all the options. the Blonde looks killer on stage. very classy !
I would happily hang on to this one, I really do not need to sell but I figured I might tempt fate and give in to my GAS a little.

Is that a slab body? |

So ones without the binding have a slightly more rounded edge. |

I got a chance to look at this monster G&L and if I hadn't just been in a car accident this week, it would be in my collection.
I still may be mine... |
