| ft. 1978 fender jazz bass
This is a feeler right now
I have a great sounding black '78 jazz - rosewood/blocks with ALMOST all original parts . The pickup / bridge covers and case are from another mid '70s jazz. The pickups are Duncan hot single coils. The rest is original. So really, the pickups are the only part that were not from the fender USA factory between 1975 and 1978!
Lots of dings and finish checking ie. Mojo.... The back of the neck has dings, but not too bad - they are not deep or really noticeable when playing. Fully funtioning truss rod in both directions. Frets have a lot of life left in them.
I am looking to trade for a spector euro - wimbish or regular in either amber or natural in 4 string (maybe 5 if it is right) with a figured quilt top + some cash

A late '70s stingray/sabre
