FT - 1979 Oly White Pre Ernie Ball Stingray

For Trade - I recently acquired a gorgeous 1979 Music Man Olympic White Stingray. The bass is in very good condition, but I am not a fretless player. Looking to trade for a fretted pre Ernie Ball Stingray of similar vintage.

I am in Canada. I might consider an earlier 100% original Fender Jazz, but I already have a couple of mint 1966 Fender Jazzes, and a few 1960's P basses that kind of satisfy my Fender itch.

A pre EB ray with a stock fretless neck!! dude that's a rarity
The pickup placement of the ray with the pre EB electronics are guaranteed fretless punch. I know cuz I own a 1980 EB sabre stock fretless since 1989 and it kicks a$%.

The alignment on the bridge seems to be off, giving the strings an unnatural pull, or is that just an optical illusion. I sold my 1979 MM piece by piece, on ebay and made a lot of money shipping over the water!. What kind of music do you play? SUCH CREAMY GOODNESS, I am sure that Pino would love to see! Congratulations on such a wonderful collection, it has taken me over 30 years to amass 25 various basses. Good luck with your sale!

Nice bass, I had one - same exact bass. Bought new from Medley Music in Bryn Mawr Pa summer of 1980 and sold in Phx in 1984. Wish I held on to it, lots of memories!!
