This pristine 1981 L1000 was recently purchased from the original owner. The finish has no checking, chrome plating is like new.
Pick up has slotted pole pieces, serial#BOO5415. Three bolt skunk stripe neck, with ebony fingerboard, always wore flats or half rounds, currently strung with chrome flats. Weight is 9.2lbs, original case, with keys
included. I would consider the following trades: (fretted)
G&L L2000, L1000, L100, JB-2, early SB-2 (JJ) or
Lakland Skyline JO, or Glaub.
email for more pics if interested.

Man, if I could play fretless worth a snail's spittle I'd be knocking down your door with trade bait.
I have an '81 with a similar (but fretted) macassar ebony board. I'll bet the fretless version plays like buttah! |

| | | | Eric, its 1 5/8" at the nut,
Madcity, I had an 82 L1K, black with a maple neck,
lots of checking, and rather heavy. I've never played a
fretted ebony neck, it must be nice.
I tried half rounds on this, went back to chromes, might
sound good with some TI flats.
J mattis, thanks for the offer, I prefer maple necks. |

| | | | Thanks Chef, I'm leaning towards getting a new G&L maple neck installed, and calling it a day. I'd be interested in a used 3 bolt G&L neck if anyone has one.
Thanks
