This bass is just not getting enough action from me these days. Minimal wear for a bass that is almost 30 years old. Includes OHSC. Really looking to trade up (so, bass + cash from me) for hybrid or tube amps. Shoot me offers, the worst I can say is no.

EDIT: Still FT, but if you have a Jazz or P offer, throw 'em my way!

Album with a ton more shots of the bass

If you need any specific shots, let me know.

Wow a blast from the past for me. I used one of these basses in the early 80's. What a great sound it had. I wish I had the extra cake to buy this one. Good luck with the sale someone is going to get a nice bass.

Thanks! I really do love the sound of this bass (and have convinced a few friends to buy one), but the neck width at the nut is too different now that by main bass is a jazz.

I had a good question via PM; this is the original cherry red finish. The indoor lighting isn't doing it any favors, but it has darkened some with age. I can get an outdoor pic up if anyone would like.

What's the weight on this bass? I've seen these range from 8.5 - 13+ Lbs. (I have the 13+ Lber!)

I've played/owned all 3 models of this bass. I prefer the Passive Models, which this is. Grossly under rated basses.

Here's a Cool Link on the Victory, which has a Link to an interview with Chuck Burge, who designed the Victory & RD basses for Gibson.

That was a fun read! I'll weigh it when I get home on the ol' bathroom scale.

My bathroom scale is terrible, but it appears to be around 10 pounds or so.

Also, pics in better lighting
