FT: 1985 Ibanez Roadstar II, MIJ, free mojo!

I kind of bought this bass on a dare... and I like it. I like it a LOT in fact, but I'm not really in a project that requires it, so I'm just throwing out the feeler on this.

As stated, 1985 Roadstar II, the one with the big motherbuckers. Well, the Super J6s, to be exact.
Weighs in at 8.8 lbs.
Basswood body, maple neck, 24 fret.
Nut width is 1-9/16ths, neck shape is medium depth C, kind of Pbass/Musicmanish.
Strung with Rotosound Flats, but will include D'addario rounds as well.

I replaced the original pots with push/pull (instead of push/push) and wired the pickups series/parallel on each volume pot. This way, there's less volume drop and no hum. It's wired V-V-T as well.
I also wired the pickups as series/parallel, just pull up or push down the tone knob.
That's 6 different settings before blending or tone shaping.
I also shielded the cavities with copper tape.
Strap buttons are Dunlop, but I could swap for others. Only 1 original one came with it, but I straplock.
Old parts included as well.

It's set up kind of low and has a REALLY classic tone. This thing nails that old-school humbucker'd bass tone in Series all the way. But it can still be crisp, clear, and modern in Parallel. And solo the Bridge PU in Series for an AWESOME burpy, Jaco-esqueness.

It's 25 years old and has been played. Looks like the back got humped a little bit by a few belt buckles. There are chips and dings all over EVERYWHERE. The frets have wear, but aren't terrible (a dressing would make this even awesomer). The bass is ROCK SOLID, no structural problems at all. It's been loved for 25 years and is ready for at least 25 more.
It's a classic bass, not your typical Ibanez, and its a blast to play.
Includes a gig bag, not original.

Seeing what pops up for trades.
I'd be into other, 80s basses...
Maybe a 5 string version of this same bass...
Or a PJ Roadstar/Roadster or Blazer...
Or a TR600 or 505...
I've always wanted a Squier Protone 5, too...
I don't know, run it by me in the PM.

Not necessarily looking to sell it, as I do like the bass and wouldn't mind having it around, but I'm in an experimental phase and anything goes.
NOT LOOKING FOR AMPS. BASS SYNTH PEDALS + CASH would be okay, though.

(I had to enhance the pic below to see the scratching. The long line is a reflection of the chair)

Nope. It's "Spector-ish" sized. The Bean, I believe, was the Musician.

Also, I have this bass, to sweeten the pot:
Ibanez SR490, wenge neck, 7.4 lbs

I'd do both in a trade, for the right bass. PM.
(((cough MUSICIAN cough cough))))
