| | | | FT: 2 for 1! Yamaha TRB6PII and STR LS648

Got two amazing instruments that're not seeing much gig time and they're TOO good to be sitting in the closet watching their 5 stringed fellows get taken out with jealousy!
First up is a Yamaha TRB6PII, very top of the Yamaha bass lineup. Insanely sweet tones this one has! Add the choice of blending the piezo's, the tonal capabilities are limitless! A gem truly, real pity these are not produced anymore and with few or none appearing on the used market. That speaks volumes IMO.
This one is in ABSOLUTE MINT condition. Ordered brand spankin new from Yamaha just before they ceased production.
Specs:
35" scale
24 frets
18mm string spacing
Ash body
Flamed Maple top
Maple/Mahogany 5-piece neck
Ebony fingerboard
Yamaha Alnico V humcancelling pickups
Yamaha BPZ-7 bridge individual saddles w piezo
Yamaha 3-band EQ w piezo volume
And next.. A simply gorgeous STR LS648. Pretty sure you've heard great things bout these, they're truly what you hear. Top notch instrument! Sounds amazing with those single coils, playability of this thing is out of this world with dead low action without any buzzes, and the feel of these necks are to die for. One of the fastest if not the quickest neck I've played. The attention to detail is of the highest quality and as some label them the 'Japanese Fodera', I surely wouldn't disagree!
Specs:
34" scale
24 frets
18mm string spacing
Ash body
Japanese Kurogaki Ebony top
3 piece Maple neck
Purpleheart fingerboard
STR custom single coils
Aguilar OBP-3
Pardon the poor photos, they're taken with an iphone (my excuse ) additional shots available upon request.
Idea is a two for one trade +/- cash either way. I'm mainly interested in high end 5's, could do with a 6 if it's really special. Individual trade consideration only if package proposals isn't what I'm after. Pretty open to offers so throw me whatcha got!
Thanks for looking |

| | | PM's replied. Some really nice offers for individual trades.
Just to answer some questions, weight of the TRB6PII is around 10lbs, and LS648 is around 8lbs. Top notch instruments they both truly are!
Some ideas of what I might be particularly interested in would be MTD, Brubaker, Sadowsky, Elrick singlecut, STR, R Bass, Stambaugh, Jerzy, W&T, Sei, Fodera? etc.. 5'ers and +/- cash where appropriate.
Bombard me away! |

Got many asking for an outright price on the TRB6PII. To be frank, I do not have a price in mind and would very much rather trade for a 5 I could use.
STR has gathered quite a fair bit of interest, could be gone if a particular offer I received comes to fruition.
For now, both are STILL AVAILABLE! |

| | | PM's returned. If I've missed any kindly let me know.
I can add a bulk of cash to the right deal! Also, I'd consider Roscoe SKB's and Warriors along with those I've previously listed. |
