FT - 2010 Fender Jazz American Standard V

TRADE COMPLETED

I bought this beauty brand new back in October but I'm just not using the 5-string as much as I thought I would. I keep reaching for my Geddy instead. So I'm looking to trade it for an American Precision 4-string or other 4-string of comparable value.

The only mods I've made to this bass are to install strap locks and I changed the pickguard from the stock white to a black pearl. Both pickguards will be included so you can change it back to the white if you prefer.

I've strung the bass with Sadowsky Blue Label Bright Nickel strings (130-105-85-65-45).

The bass comes with the hard shell case and all of the case-candy. I'll even ship the the bass in the original Fender box that was sent to me when I purchased it.

While I prefer to trade, I'll listen to any reasonable offer to buy (keeping in mind that this bass is practically brand new).

Thanks for looking!

I know how it sounds is more important than how it looks but for me, the Warwick just ain't my type (for lack of a better way to put it).

Too bad though....you and I are both in the same boat in terms of wanting to switch back to what we're comfortable with. What we need is a third party so we can work a three way trade....my Fender to you, your Warwick to someone else, and that someone's Precision to me!

Nice bass. I really want the sound of a USA Standard Jazz (which is available locally) but I think I need to have a B string. This is tempting, but I haven't really liked a Fender B string. Of course, I haven't tried a newer 5 yet and I hear they are much better.

This would compliment my MIA 4-string Jazz+, but I just bought a new VR. Money pit is empty! For now!

Trade completed. My Jazz for a gorgeous 4-string American Standard Precision.
