I have a 20th Anniversary StingRay 5 that Im considering trading. It is a very, very good bass, and Im sure Ill regret this, but Im a gear whore, so Ill deal with it.
It has a couple special features to include a 20th Ann logo on the headstock with dates, creme colored binding, a flame maple top AND there is a mahogany tone block in the body to "warm up" the sound of the bass. It also has alnico pickup magnets. Weighs somewhere around 10.2 pounds.
The case for this one does show a good bit of wear. Im over it. I gig a lot, and its a case. Nuff said. There is also some player wear on the bass. Nothing major, honestly. There is nothing that is actually through the finish. Theres a small ding on the top side of the bridge (can be seen in the last pic, and the lighting really makes it stand out more than normal) and some small scratches on the back that I couldnt get to show up in pics (who sees the back anyway?

). I say all this because Im a good guy, and I dont like surprises in bass deals. This is full disclosure.
Now, the StingRay 5 sounds friggin great and plays well, and its even set up low. Ill ship with your choice of a broken in set of EB flats or a new set of Slinkys.
For trades, I am interested in:
70s P-Bass, a player (not looking for a collectors piece)
a decent Sadowsky Metro
The following MusicMan basses:
Big Al 5
Classic SR5
ANY 5 string EBMM with a BFR rosewood neck
the right Sterling 5 (any pickup config) or StingRay 5 H/SC For anything else, well, you just never know. Shoot me a PM. Worst I can do is say no.
PICS:
