I am not liking the idea of parting with either one of these. But I am in a position I didnt think I would be in again. I find myself needing a 5 or preferably a 6 string for a new project.
I just got the P bass a month or so ago and it is
the best P bass I have owned MIA, MIJ or any of them. Hands down. Neck, sound, playability ect. Its a 94/95' era Foto Flame. Slimmer than normal P profile neck.
The second is my beloved J bass. 80's era MIJ J neck which IMO smokes the last two newer MIA J bass necks I have owned. Warmoth ash body with quilt top. Trans red. Pro relic job. EBMM style bartolini pups. The only thing i'm not sure of is what brand the Pre is. never seen one like it before.
I have some crappy cell phone pics of the P bass. I can take better ones if need be. I have a few better ones of the J bass also.
I prefer 6 string but would go for the right 5'r. Would prefer another Cirrus. Fretless is possible....depends on the bass.
I do NOT want to trade both towards something. I need to keep one. I can throw in some cash on my end if need be.
