I bought this from Scottm in August and I've only used it for a few gigs. I do love it a lot, but it the spacing and weight are a little too much for me. This is a repost of the classified that has now been closed.

FS: 6 string Cliff Bordwell bass
It really sounds great, but I'm trying to get away from the 19mm spacing basses. The repair, as mentioned in the original add, has not been done. I have had the repair quoted at around $350 and I have the replacement truss rods. So far, despite the huge temperature and humidity changes where I live, the neck has remained stable and has had no need for adjustment. I planned to have it repaired when I got back from the ships, but if I can trade it now that will work for me too.
I am only looking for fretless basses, either 5 string or 6. If it is a 6, the spacing has to be 18mm or lower! This bass weighs over 11 pounds, so none of that for me either!
A lakland fretless would be my most ideal, but I'm open to anything!
