This is sort of a feeler....SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD ...THIS BASS IS GOING TO COLUMBUS IN.....SOLD SOLD SOLD
What I am really loking for is a Yamaha BB1200. Passive, neck through, with a reverse p pickup. Like the one pictured below.
But I may also be interested in any MIJ Yamaha, or a G&L L1000 or 2000, kind of diggin' spectors lately. And feel free to shoot any trade bait my way.
However I am not in a hurry to get rid of this.
Up for trade is my 1971 Kalamazoo Made Gibson SB400, which is an odd Gibson as it is a 34" scale with a alder body and a set maple neck. Not the ushual mahogany short scale affair.
It has been hot rodded with EMG active j bass pickups with a 9v battery but only a pasive style tone control. It has a Schaller bridge branded Kramer, and Grover tuners. The wood, frets and nut are all that is original. There are a couple dings on the back of the neck, nothing that affects playability. And the finish on the body is all checked and cracking around the neck joint (NOT THE WOOD)and there are holes in the body that were for the original pickup trim rings and bridge cover. And then two holes for a thumbrest that I didn't drill. It wears new SIT power nickel strings(not in these pics). Includes a Gibson USA gig bag. This thing kills and I may decide at any point to keep it as I will probably never find one like it. I Have just been gassin' on a BB1200 for a while now.

Thanks for looking!!
