For trade (because I don't know how much I could get for this one), 1986 Ibanez Roadstar II bass. I believe this is it here in the catalog:

It is probably the RB999PW (pearl white) which has yellowed out over the last 23 years. Great finish. Painted neck. But is not perfect.
Here's the details: Bought used from Billy of Toy Subs in Houston around 1990. Before I bought it, the fretboard had split near the nut on the B string side. It was professionally repaired and has held up without any issues. Trussrod is fine, action is low, but last time I checked (over 15 years ago) the truss rod was turned full.
This bass was professionally defretted and filled with wood inlays for the fretless conversion sometime in 1991. It saw many gigs and worked flawlessly throughout highschool and shortly thereafter.
The bridge needs some adjusting, or else the saddles will rattle. Not a big deal to set up, but use some locktite or some light thread locker to keep those in place.
String spacing is very narrow. Pickups are active. Fretboard is ebony. Missing trussrod plate. Rear has a separate battery compartment. Bass is a little headstock heavy, so a strap with some resistance is helpful, but the bass is light! Will put it on the scale later to see.
Things I'm looking for: I need recording interfaces (firewire/usb) and a midi keyboard of some kind. Interested in various basses, guitars, pedals or whatever else you might want to give up. Can include cash my way as well. This isn't a perfect bass, but it needs to find a new home since it has gotten little use in the last ten years.
It's currently in a Peavy hardcase, which isn't molded to it, but fits fine. But that does add extra weight to the shipping costs. If you don't want it, I can either pad it very well or put it in a softcase.
Better pictures, under better lighting coming soon.
