FT: '91 MIA Fender Precision Plus

Sign in to disble this ad
I am thinking of trading my '91 MIA Precision Plus (aka the Longhorn). This features a 22 fret, 1 5/8" neck, passive electronics, Dimarzio Model P and Model J pups, high-mass bridge with fine tuning adjusters, deluxe "F" tuners, and a 3 position pup selector switch. She weighs in at 9.5 lbs.

This a versatile, great sounding bass that is easy to play.

I am looking for MIA Jazz Basses. Please PM me if interested. I can provide more pics and answer any questions. Thanks for looking!

Bump.

Besides a Jazz, I'd also be interested in Stingrays (4 stringers).

Too bad it's not rosewood. How's the balance with the boner body?

The upper horn is longer than a standard P or J; it comes up to roughly the 11th fret. Because of this, balance is perfect....even with the P neck and the deluxe tuners.

You'd never know you have a 9.5 lb bass on your shoulder.
