FT: Brand new Fender Precision MIA for Stingray SR4

Sign in to disble this ad
Well, I made a decision to sell my Stingray SR4 and buy a precision, and now a week later, I'm realizing I wished I had my Stingray back.

So now I'm looking to trade my week old Fender American Standard Precision for a like new Stingray 4H.

It's black with the maple fretboard, still has the plastic on the pickguard and tuners. Comes with the new hardshell case, and all the included case candy.

For a Stingray, I'd prefer a single humbucker, fairly new model, hardshell case, etc.

Anyone interested in buying the P bass, I'd like to get $950 plus shipping.

I actually don't have a scale here to weigh it with. I'll see if I can find a scale to borrow and get you a weight.

Rob, by the way, I also bought a brand new Fender B/W/B pickguard for it that I never installed. I noticed in your picture you're playing a black P with the black pickguard. If you're interested in the bass, and you'd like me to install the B/W/B, I can.

Any chance you'd be interested in an American made G&L L2000? If you've never tried one before, they can sound just like a Stingray & play like a dream. When I use it to try for a traditional P sound, it usually ends up sounding more like a Jazz (but definitely has its own sound - very hot pickups). I'd rather just have an American P Bass. This one you've got here looks purty!

Great Bass - American G&L L2000

Please let me know if you're interested in working something out for trade + cash. Thanks.

I actually never have played one, so I guess it's hard to say. Instead of taking a chance, I think I'll keep looking a little longer. Maybe if nothing turns up soon, I'll think about this.

Half tempted. But do I really need another P-bass?
