I'll be adding pictures to each post as I can get them up. Would prefer to trade 2 for 1 and stuff like that. I'm trying to thin the herd! I have no problem holding a bass, but I won't hold it for more than a weekend.
Up on the chopping block today:
08 American Standard Precision Bass: Olympic white, tort pickguard, DR Hi-Beams that are a few months old (and haven't seen much use) Its in great shape and an awesome bass. I don't wanna get rid of it, but I never play it. A few minor bumps and other player wear. One goes through the finish, and its not very big. Maybe the size of a pencil eraser. Neck is perfect and super comfy.

G tuner is slightly bent. The nut had cracked before I got it, and someone superglued it. Plays and sounds fine. Could use a minor fret dress as well. Its missing one knob because my bass tech is an idiot and lost one. The bass is wired like it was from the factory. I really don't want to get rid of this bass. I planned on plugging the hole and refinishing, but I don't know anyone who does that kind of work, especially in my budget. If you have any suggestions, PM me please!
Lots of player wear. Some worming in the back from a belt buckle, a divot where a previous owner rested his finger. You get the idea.
Supposedly this was owned by Oren of Elysian Fields, I sent him an email to verify just now, but it doesn't matter either way. I'm still on the fence about this so this is officially a feeler.

Bit of an oddball. Wired up passive P/J with a Nordstrand humcancelling set. Volume, Blend, Tone. Copper foil shielding on everything.
130 year old ash body from Carmine Street Guitars in NYC. Neck is a warmoth bubinga neck with a defretted ebony fretboard. The body is stained mahogany, and then finished in tung oil and then nitro. The neck is finished in a thin coat of nitro as well. The fretboard is has a light layer of poly. The back of the neck has no finish.
Schaller tuners, fender bridge. The print around the bridge outline was from the old bridge and its mostly crusty old wax polish. I scraped some off with my fingernail but I really don't have any nails. The original bridge could be swapped out, but you'll need to shim the neck if you want super low action. I have a sound clip of the this bass for those interested.
Decal is the Flying Monkey from Wizard of Oz.

Its shaped like a P-bass and it says its a P-bass on the headstock. For some reason this came with Jazz bass pickups. I swapped them out for proper 5 string Jazz pickups and settled on Bartolinis. The route job isn't perfect. The guy who did it, did an awesome job, but for some reason they sold this bass with 4 string bass pickups. Don't ask me why. So the holes aren't exactly perfect like a factory bass.
A weird subdued gold finish, this has a new mint pickguard. It also has an old Cheshire Cat decal on the back of the bass and a semi-defaced SlipKnot sticker (their stylized S which I removed enough of to make it look like an eye) on the forearm contour. I just don't like that band and the bass came with it.
Other mods to this bass include hipshot ultralights, and a new graphite nut. This bass is strung E-C. It also has a hipshot d-tuner. The neck of the bass was shaved down a lot so now its super skinny, but still very wide.
Has a Demeter Preamp and is currently wired Volume, Blend, highs, mids, lows. The mid pot is pullable (an upgrade) and it fattens up the tone considerably.
Might already be gone to a friend of mine, but I'm posting this on TB in case she changes her mind. Sold back to my exgirlfriend

Newer highway series neck (07 I think) on a replacement P-bass body that someone made for it. The guy was kind enough to affix a name plate that says handmade by K.R. Glenn. Its a really nice body, although I have no idea what woods are in it. I'm guessing alder, and then you have two mystery woods.
Ancient DiMarzio P-bass pickup. Under the pickguard there isn't any wood. This makes this bass really like, and it gives it a weird hollowbody sort of vibe. Never thought I'd get rid of this either, but some circumstances involving the bass make me not want to play it. (Originally thought this was stolen, found out it was taken without permission and then passed around for a few weeks.)
Lots of player wear on the body. Fender USA tuners and an old Fender Claw Bridge from the 80s round this bass out.
