Not feeling the 6 string vibe anymore, and not many folks have a pile of cash lying around, so I'm looking to trade off my USA-made Peavey Cirrus 6 string bass. I purchased it new in 2004 and have noodled with at home ever since. No gigs or anything, so it's in great shape like you might expect. Just one ding on the tip of the headstock. Comes with the original hard case and straplocks that match the bass' gold hardware.
The Cirrus line gets lots of love on TB, and I concur that it is a marvelous instrument. Also deserving of praise is Peavey customer service IMO. A couple weeks ago, I got a little overzealous with my intonation tweaking (turned a screw too tight) and broke one of the sliding adjustable saddles. I contacted Peavey customer service and they sent me a replacement part free of charge. Wow! It installed like a charm and we're back in action!
Anyway, here's what I'm
looking for in trade offers:
* A 5 string USA Cirrus would be perfect
* Other 5 stringers of similar caliber
* Maybe a 4 string...but it would have to be a real knock-out deal
I no longer have the LaBella tapewound strings on it, but if you're really attached to them I do have a new set of those strings lying around in their package somewhere and we could work something out I'm sure. Thanks for looking!
