FT: EBMM 2005 Ltd. Ed. StingRay *8/29- even more trade bait and will consider sale

****8/29/10 FYI- I have a had a couple people ask if I am still willing to sell it as I had it previously listed in a different thread as such. Sure, $1000 $950 firm shipped. I'd rather trade but would be dumb to decline when there's so much I GAS for here. That price, BTW, is probably the lowest I have seen for any yearly limited edition finishes EBMM bass*****

I had this up before and was for sale too but can't edit the thread title. GAS is on the loose so trade only at this point.

2005's LE was Buttercream. This 'un has a matching headstock too. It's in near new condition apart from some very light swirling on the pickguard. It does not have the limited edition case but will ship in a very nice G&G case with the Yamaha logo next to the latches. Bass is awesome, I am just coming to realize I don't care for solo'ed bridge pups.

I am open to straight trades, trade plus some cash on your end, or even multiple items from you in an even trade. I can't do any cash on my end. Also, for whatever reason I don't like natural finishes.

Here is my GAS list (4 strings only):

-G&L's apart from SB's or L-1500's (I'd love to have an ASAT again in particular)

-P basses. Passive only or both active and passive

-J basses only if they have matching headstocks and/or a J Retro (or enough cash included to buy one too)

-Fender Roscoe Beck IV's

-Laklands (particularly limited editions, really gassing for a Dude Pit LE JO). No 44-01/02's,

-EBMM SR HH/HS, Sterling HH/HS, Big Al SSS, Bongo HH/HS

-Quirky basses like Dipinto, Italia, Eastwood, etc.

-Epiphone Jack Cassidy or Allen Woody

-Something with a Darkstar pup

-Gretsch basses

-A Kay Vintage Reissue

-Ibanez Jet King

-Gretsch Electromatic Baritone Jet (or any 30" scale 6 string Bass VI style bass/baritone guitar)

The only head/cabinets I would be interested in:

-Hartke LH1000.

-Mesa Buster (head only)

-Ampeg V-4

Effects:

-EHX BMS (the new smaller version)

-EHX POG2

Any basses outside of what is listed toss it out there.... ya never know but only 4 strings and only fretted. Amps and cabinets, please keep to what is listed.

Thanks but the Brubaker is a little too modern for my tastes

Hmmmm... I was looking to trade but I suppose I would sell for $1000 shipped. The LE's usually go for a bit more but since this doesn't have the LE case, $1000 would work.

I am not getting much interest here so threw 'er up on eBay as I've got GAS for some stuff here in the forums. I'll do it for $950 firm shipped CONUS for a TB'er. If this is still open, it hasn't sold on eBay.

This really is a ridiculous price for this bass. I have a 2-band version and it's build is on par with my US Laklands, and better than my '82 Ric 4001. Love these basses!!!

Thanks- every EBMM I've had is of stellar build quality but the neck on this one is particularly nice. If it was an HH or HS it would be a keeper. I'm really stunned I haven't been able to move this yet... dang economy!

Oh, and I just added some more trade bait!

Thanks! It's my favorite too.... in an ideal world someone with a 2+ pup EBMM in the same color would be down for a trade.
