Hello there TB land! Up for trade is my EMBB Stingray classic 4 string in the Guitar Center exclusive color raspberry! The bass has a Gorgeous flamed maple neck and fretboard with no noticeable fret wear and 2 band EQ. For the time I had the bass it was strung with TI flats but it will ship with brand new rounds (once I pick some up).
I would rate in in 9.0 or better condition with the only "flaw" I can find being swirling on the pickguard. This is my 3rd attempt at owning a Stingray and have just decided that the stingray sound just isn't for me. I was going to mod it but I decided against it (there's just not a huge market for a Stingray with a "P" pickup installed should I have decided to trade or sell it after the modification).
The bass plays like a dream and sounds great (for a 'ray lol) but in the end, when it's all said and done and despite my best efforts, it just isn't "my" sound.
It comes with the original case, hang tags, case keys and fretboard conditioner packet. In regards to trades I am looking for the following:
LAKLAND 55-64 Skyline (rosewood board ONLY and prefferably NOT black)
LAKLAND DJ4 Skyline (any color except black)
I got a pretty good deal when I purchased this EBMM classic and have no problems passing that deal along to a true stingray fan or anybody who is looking for an instrument as good looking as this.
