Okay, I have come to the conclusion that I'm pretty much stuck in the "jazz" bass department. This is a great sounding, great playing bass. It just doesn't "feel" right to me. I'm still coming back to my 44-02.
It's a USA Sterling 4, pearl blue with a non-original SKB hard case. The bass has some player wear on the pickup and some here and there, but nothing major at all.
I'm looking for jazz basses and basses along those lines.
