This bass was purchased directly from George Furlanetto at Namm 08. It took some persuading as he wanted to keep it for himself! It's one of the first VF5s made, sounds and plays great but, at a hair under 10lbs, is more than my old back can handle.
I'm primarily looking for a Fender style bass, 9lbs or under so Sadowsky or Alleva Copollo, or possibly Nordy come to mind. Ordering this new from F Bass would cost you just over $5k. I'm thinking a trade value of $3500 is fair. The bass is in excellent condition, just one small mark on the edge of the headstock. Still has the original strings with plenty of life in them!
