Original thread I bought the bass from
FS: Fender American Standard Precision 2009

I have some shoulder issues (both shoulders) and I am looking for a lighter alternative to my P bass... I may also consider a Carvin Semi Acoustic as well. Not looking for a hollow body (ala Jack Casady) because the bodies are to big. Basicly I need a bass with something as close to an electric body, but with less weight. I had been considering a Schecter Stargazer, but these may still be to heavy.

Can Take pics of the bass if there is interest shown.

Not looking to sell this outright. Only looking for a trade in the US.

Hey, My stargazer is still avail suddenly. Very light.... brand new... make me an offer. I have 2 of them. I love them just don't need two. The red one I have is awesome. I have shoulder issues as well from two broken collar bones. Much lighter than my Fender Jazz. About 7.5 lbs on my scale.

I thougth I had it sold locally but the guy showed up short....

I have a five string Steinberger Synapse XS-15FPA in red that I haven't picked up in a while that I would love to trade for your Precision. It's never been toured, dropped, or had strange liquids poured on it. I picked it up to play when I was recovering from back surgery, it's REALLY light.

Let me know! I've been looking for a good USA P-bass

I have a Danelectro Hodad in mint condition. Super lightweight, 34" scale. Would this be interesting to you and your back? Plus I'm near Chicago and I think you are too!
