Mahogany/ebony "Wunkay":
Why am I trading it? It doesn't get gigged by me because it's much hotter than my other basses and don't like messing with the volume issue. I love playing it at home, though. It's a great sounding bass.
Came to me with the frets removed. The slots were never filled. The fretboard was chipped, some, when the frets were pulled. The chips were filled with ebony wood filler and the bass was refretted with the Allparts equivqalent of Dunlop 6150 frets (standard bass frets). The chips are barely noticeable. The nut has also been replaced. The original was broken. It's in good shape for a 30 year old bass. There is wear and a few dings in the body, but the neck is near perfect. There is finish missing from the back of the body due to buckle rash, maybe. Includes the original case. Weight: 9 lbs. 4.2 oz. on my digital shipping scale.
Nut width is 1 11/16", like an old P-Bass. The neck is very comfortable.
I'm interested in an American Jazz Bass, but I might be interested in other basses. Let me know what you have.
More pics available on request.
Thanks!

The strap buttons are for a set of Dunlop strap locks. They will be replaced with a stock fender set. The bass came to me with a really old set of Dunlop locks that didn't work anymore.
Thanks for looking!
P.S. Guys, It's going to have to be something I'd really like, to get me to let this go. This thing is a beast.
