Just a feeler...a recent impulse but just not sure if I can ever get used to graphite neck basses. I am not dying to get rid of it, but after recently buying and doing a few gigs with it just not sure the it will be a bass I will play alot. Don't be fooled by the one pickup/2 knobs, as stated below it is a Q filter "a la Alembic" and not like a regular tone control at all
FWIW although the below says Bartoloni pre when you look at it is says Zon on the Pre...
Here is info direct from Zon customer service...
Your Legacy Elite I bass was made February 1984 at our shop in Buffalo, NY. The body has a center piece of hard maple with poplar wings. It has a Bartolini EZQ circuit. The "tone" control is actually a filter which allows you to select from a variety of frequencies. Once the desired frequency is chosen, the mini switch provides three different levels of "Q" for a wide, medium or narrow band "bump" of that particular frequency.
As far as what I would want I tend to like 4's and more smaller build stuff that is unique, but run anything by me. Probably no graphite necks though
