FT feeler: 1999 MIM Jazz Deluxe

I bought this bass new back in 2000 (I think), and I believe it`s a 1999 model. It is all - original and has the Suhr - designed single-pole pups. Condition - wise, I don`t believe you could find a nicer one; it has literally never left home. There is no buckle rash, no dents, chips, etc. There might be an occasional light scratch here and there if you hold it to the light, but absolutely nothing through the finish. About the only flaw I can find is a small place near the control plate that looks like it bumped something and some of the object`s paint rubbed off on the bass. It would probably buff out - I haven`t tried. And the PG needs a good scrubbing (which I will do before shipping), and a couple of the pup screw heads (the heads, not the screws themselves) are stripped. The last time I adjusted the pups, I just turned those screws with NN pliers no problem. Neck is pretty tight - I stuck a pick in there as far as I could in the pic. Roto flats, no case. Wt.8.5 lbs. It`s one of the nicest MIMs I`ve ever played. Things I`m looking for: something J necked - a P or P/J. May go + cash up or down. A Reggie Hamilton or Atkinson goes to the top of the list ! ` burst finish also gets special consideration. Might also swap bodies - keep your P neck and trade the body !

Hey...if you are looking for a (P/J) take a look at this...I believe its Made in Korea, and the finish, quality and sound is pretty amazing. I got it for my son last year..then he left for Ohio State and never used it...its mint. Very, very thin P-neck, much thinner than a MIM. The name was removed from the headstock.
