Whats up folks,
Well it's spring again and I'm feeling the urge to try something new, so I'm throwing out the line to see what kind of offers there are.
The bass:
-2001 Roscoe LG3005 #4977
-Swamp Ash body
-Flamed Maple top
-Tobacco sunburst finish
-Highly figured Birdseye Maple board (truly exquisite!)
-Bartolini pickups
-Aguilar OBP-3 preamp
-DR Nickel Sunbeam strings
-Roscoe hard/soft case
This bass is actually somewhat of a rare gem in that the headstock matches the birdseye fretboard, rather than the body. I was told it was the only one made in this fashion. It's in excellent+ shape, some very light scratches under the G string, and a couple small greyish areas under the finish that are barely noticeable, one small ding on the tip of the headstock. The bass is fantasic to play, 18mm spacing, nice low action and no buzz, and that amazing Roscoe tone. If the right bass doesn't present itself I'll gladly keep this one, just curious about other possibilities.
Trades:
I'm looking for 5 string fretted basses of comparable value only (which I would say is $1900-$2000). I'm not in a position to add cash, but might be interested in a bass of slightly lesser value w/ cash to me.
Modulus Quantum 5's (w/ truss-rod and Barts or Lane Poors, & an exotic top) are at the top of the list, but I'll consider other options as well. Let me know what you've got, the worst I could say is no thanks
