Hello all...putting my feelers out the on a true players 75 fender jazz bass. There are a few mods to this bass. The nut has been changed to a brass nut, and the bridge is a badass II. Also, dating the pots it looks like someone changed the pots in 84 and 86. Other than that this bass is amazing. Set up is perfect, at least for me and there is no buzz. There are some wear and tear marks on this one...some cigarette burns on the head stock and some wear on the back. The bass sounds awesome. Huge round sound. Looking for trades only for now.

I thought 75's were a 3 bolt. Was it converted? How heavy/light is it?

Not all were 3 bolt. Bout 10 lbs.

That is correct.I have a 75 4 bolt also.They used both(3&4 bolt) until the end of 1975...Nice bass!!
