love these basses. Had one modded with a Dark Star, amazing. The DS fit without any routing. The only drawback is the weight, which is why I don't own it anymore.

My T-20 comes in at 9.4 lbs so your # sounds spot on to me.

I dont have the right trade bait, but I do have a question- what does the 3rd knob do? One's volume and one's tone but that 3rd one always confused me.

Thanks Gord, on BOTH counts- both for the link to the manual and the courtesy if you sell.
VERY advanced tone ciruitry going on there-really amazing when you realize its all passive too.

I also think its interesting that the T-45 came with the same massive bridge as the T-40, while the T-20 used a much smaller one.

I have a T-45 which weighs in at 10lbs and came with a darkstar, which wasn't for me.
I modded it with a SD Basslines humbucker, 3 way coil tap and bass tone knob to duplicate the controls in a G&L L-1000. Still not quite there and I may have to swap out the pickup for a G&L.

not likely.
spoke with my guitar tech and he needs to buy a truss rod tool from peavey to finish my setup.
once its setup properly, and i know how it plays i will decide if i want to sell, trade, or keep.

i am however curious as to if anyone would trade a fender pj for this.

EDIT: ok guys, i have had a lot of questions to put this up for sale. i dont feel like it would be right to yet. without having the proper truss tool i dont know if the neck is any good. i could sell it as is, but i would like to have that clarified before i put it up for sale. if someone wants to make a reasonable offer i will consider it.

ok, i might be putting this up for sale.

this needs a setup pretty badly, so i figured i would get a pro setup for this and put it up for sale. my tech ordered a truss rod tool straight from peavey.
im thinking with the holiday, it got stuck somewhere so this week it should be here.
kjpollo has first dibs, but if he passes ill list it back up.

I'll see if I can find some pictures of it. My main computer crapped out and my camera software is not compatable with this computer.
